Manraj was called to the bar in 2016. He graduated with an Honours BA from York University in 2010, majoring in Criminology and obtained his law degree from the University of Birmingham, UK in 2013.

Manraj completed his articles with Sweatman Law, a law firm in Oakville, Ontario which specializes in estate litigation, planning, and administration.  Manraj gained extensive experience working as an Associate with Sharma Lawyers, a boutique law firm in Woodbridge, Ontario where he practiced in the areas of Corporate and Commercial, Real Estate, and Health and Regulatory law.

Corporate/Commercial practice involves:
 

• Business purchase and sale transactions, including shares, assets and real property 

• Preparation of commercial agreements including joint venture arrangements, shareholder agreements, non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, licensing agreements, independent contractor agreements, and distribution agreements

• Lease review and preparation 

• Corporate structuring for new companies and restructuring of existing corporations

Real Estate and Estate Planning practice involves:
 

• Completing purchase and sale transactions, both residential and commercial and attending to post-closing issues including litigation

• Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trusts for simple to complicated estates
